California Sandwiches

Ingredients & Directions

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 slices Pepperidge Farm® Farmhouse™ Whole Grain White Bread, toasted
  • 1/2 avocado, pitted, peeled and sliced (To test if an avocado is ripe, don't poke it with your fingers! Place it into your palm and if it gives when you gently squeeze, it's ready.)
  • 4 thin slices deli turkey breast
  • 4 slices cooked bacon or turkey bacon
  • 6 thin slices tomato
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Spread the mayonnaise on one side of the bread slices. Layer the avocado, turkey, bacon and tomato (sprinkled with salt and pepper) between the bread slices.
