Club-Style Tomato and Egg Sandwiches

Ingredients & Directions

  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon real bacon bits
  • 4 slices Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread*, toasted
  • 2 hard-cooked egg**, sliced
  • 2 slices (1/4-inch thick each ) beefsteak tomato
  • 2 green leaf lettuceleaves

Mix mayonnaise and bacon.

Spread bacon mixture among 4 bread slices. Top 2 bread slices with egg, tomato and lettuce. Top with remaining bread slices.

**For those maintaining a low-cholesterol diet, remove and discard egg yolks. Finely chop egg whites and mix with mayonnaise and bacon.
