Ingredients & Directions
- 1 tablespoon fig preserves or fig jam
- 2 slices Pepperidge Farm® Cheese Bread - Asiago Cheese Bread
- 2 ounces Gruyère cheese, shredded (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Spread the preserves on 1 bread slice. Top with the cheese and the remaining bread slice.
Melt the butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the sandwich and cook for 5 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides and the cheese is melted.
