Open-Faced Red Pepper & Hummus Sandwiches

Ingredients & Directions

  • 8 teaspoons roasted garlic-flavored hummus
  • 4 slices Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 100% Whole Wheat Bread, toasted
  • 1/2 cup drained roasted red bell peppercut into strips
  • 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coarsely ground black pepper

Spread 2 teaspoons hummus on each bread slice.  Divide the peppers, basil and cheese among the bread slices.  Season with the vinegar and black pepper.
